Sriboga hold's a baking workshop and digital business in Semarang

PT Sriboga Flour Mill organized a Bakery & Pastries baking demo with the theme "Fiesta Bakery Innovation & Digital Smartpreneur." Located at Aston Hotel & Convention Center Semarang.

For those who are still unfamiliar with Sriboga Flour Mill, a little information, Sriboga Flour Mill is known as the most innovative flour pioneer and is the top three producers in Indonesia.

The company also houses the Sriboga Food Group, among others, Pizza Hut, Pizza Hut Delivery, The Kitchen by Pizza Hut, Marugame Udon, and Boat Noodle.

The activity was attended by around 240 participants from the target of 175 participants. The majority of them are SMEs and industry players in the Bakery sector. Through this event, participants will be educated about digital applications and marketing in collaboration with Google.

Among other things, such as education for packaging to make it durable and make SMEs that had only relied on traditional recipes with medium and lower selling prices, began to innovate so that the product segment increased, so that their selling prices were also higher.

PT Sriboga Flour Mill's General Manager , Rike Sundari, explained that the purpose of holding the Baking Workshop event and in collaboration with Google, he wanted the bakery UKM players and bakery industry to be able to market their products online. So that they become SMEs that increase or rise in class.

Rike Sundari said "We also present a digital business speaker from Google My Business, to share information with invitees regarding the ways and benefits of registering their businesses on the Google search engine, so that they can be seen while increasing sales online".

Meanwhile, discussing products from Sriboga Flour Mill there are three categories, namely premium, non premium and super premium. With the development of 55 percent premium products, 40 percent non premium, and 3-5 percent super premium. While production capacity is still 30 percent of installed capacity.

Rike said, the biggest market for Sriboga products in Bali is that there are quite a lot of hotels, restaurants, cafes and modern bakeries .

He said "From the total turnover obtained for super premium products, Bali contributes around 20 percent of the 30,000 packs of 25 kg packaging. Followed by Bandung, Jakarta and Central Java also have good potential because there are many modern bakeries".

The superiority of one of the products is super premium, including the size of wheat flour is finer so the product is softer. Whiter products without using bleach, there are low, medium and high protein categories.

There are four types of Super Premium products, namely Hime which is suitable for Asian bread making, Duoble Zero which is suitable for making European bread. Then there is the type of Ninja flour , which can be used to make any cake, and Yokozuna is suitable for making cakes.

He explained " Sriboga's market share of national wheat consumption is 4-5 percent, which makes Sriboga the sixth largest number of total flour players".

The Director of PT Sriboga Flour Mill, Hadian Iswara added, the core of this activity is two, namely application education and marketing education. His party educated participants to make a product that can be durable or durable with an interesting process of frozen and packaging.
